Dominic Fike has just unveiled his highly anticipated sophomore album, “Sunburn” through Columbia Records/Sony Music Entertainment. This album sees him returning to his roots in Florida, exploring the unique culture and environments that shaped him in the Sunshine State. One standout track from the album is “Mona Lisa” a collaboration between Dom and his longtime partner Kenny Beats, which was also featured in the blockbuster film “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.”
“Sunburn” features other notable tracks like “Frisky” and “Think Fast,” which have been building anticipation among fans over the past few months. The latter song includes contributions from Rivers Cuomo, the frontman of Weezer, on guitar and backing vocals—a meaningful moment for Dom, considering Weezer’s influence on him and his history of covering their hit “Say It Ain’t So” during his early North American tour.
Next week, Dom will embark on his highly awaited North American tour, “Don’t Stare At The Sun.” This tour marks his first live performances since his breakout set at this year’s Coachella, where Rolling Stone noted that “his talent jumped out every time he took the mic.” Throughout the tour, Dom will take the stage at iconic venues such as Prospect Park in New York, the Greek Theater in Los Angeles, and the Huntington Bank Pavilion in Chicago, making it his largest tour to date.
“Sunburn” is available in various formats, including digital, standard CD, and vinyl editions. The CD edition includes a 12-panel folded insert poster, while the vinyl edition comes with a 12-page insert booklet. There is also an exclusive CD edition with a 60-page photo book on glossy paper stock, as well as deluxe and color vinyl editions. The deluxe vinyl is pressed on black vinyl and includes a 24-page insert booklet, while the color vinyl edition comes on Florida orange vinyl and includes a 12-page insert booklet. Digital and CD formats are currently available for purchase, while vinyl formats are available for pre-order.
