Young smartphone brand gets recognized for its nationwide initiative
In its first-ever attempt at the 58th Anvil Awards held on March 8, narzo Philippines clinched the prestigious Silver Anvil award for its entry titled “narzo Roundtable Series: An Inclusive Approach to Brand-Building”. The brand, which is only 7 months old, managed to secure the accolade, cementing its position in the market.
The award was presented in the Special Events and Exhibits category and recognized narzo’s efforts in September to October 2022, when it adopted a collaborative approach that involved both Metro Manila and Regional media to strengthen its nationwide presence. The Silver Anvil was given to narzo in recognition of its “effective implementation of an inclusive and collaborative approach to establish ties with media nationwide and extend its brand presence in key areas of the Philippines.”
Carlo Nemo, the Public Relations Officer for narzo, expressed gratitude and honor upon receiving the recognition from the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP). “We are both grateful and honored to be recognized by the PRSP,” said Nemo. He dedicated the victory to their media partners for their unwavering support towards narzo’s mission of delivering quality devices within the budget segment to the Filipino market.
The Anvil Awards is a prestigious event in the field of Public Relations and is presented annually by the PRSP. It is regarded as the highest symbol of excellence in the industry. The awarding ceremony, named Gabi ng Parangal, was held at the Manila Marriott Hotel in Newport, Pasay City, and was themed “Isang Habi” or One Weave, emphasizing unity and collaboration. This year’s event had a Filipiniana theme that celebrated the rich culture and heritage of the Philippines.
