The opening ceremony of the 1st Hp Enterprise Cup Basketball Tournament was held at Gatorade Hoop in Mandaluyong on November 22, 2014. It was spearheaded by Hp Philippines Managing Director, Ryan Guadalquiver. Participating in this friendly tournament are HP Enterprise Group Channel partners (MEC Computer Corporation, MSI-ECS Phils., Inc. Thakral Infotech, Inc., Wordtext Systems Inc., Unison Computer Systems, Inc., Sandz Solutions, Inc., Questech Co., Inc., and Advance Solutions, Inc.) and customers (Smart, Digitel, BDO and Globe).
The basketball tournament is first of the many joint activites of HP Enterprise Group and its channel partners and customers. The goal the tournament wants to achieve is to build stronger relationships with the HP community. It is also a way for HP to reach out to its channel partners and customers by promoting work-life balance.
HP Enterprise Group believes that the tournament will benefit HP channel partners and customers. HP EnterpriseGroup is hoping that this can turn into an annual event.
Trophies, medals and gift certificates awaits the winning basketball teams. Deserving individuals will also be receive special awards such as MVP, Best Muse/Uniform and Mythical Selections.
