Level Infinite and Hotta Studio have revealed the latest update, “Wandering Amidst Miasma” (version 2.3) for the popular MMORPG, Tower of Fantasy. The update will be released on February 2, 2023 and it comes packed with new features such as a new story, a new map with unique landscapes and creatures, and new bosses and challenges. The update also marks the six-month anniversary of Tower of Fantasy and to celebrate, players can expect a host of events and rewards like nuclei, dark crystals and more. Tower of Fantasy has been a massive success, receiving the Best for Tablets award from Google Play, being nominated for Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards and it can be played for free on the official website, as well as on the App Store, Google Play and Steam.

Wander amidst the Miasma
The upcoming update 2.3 for Tower of Fantasy, titled “Wandering Amidst Miasma,” will introduce a new map for players to explore – the Miasmic Swamp. This new location boasts a diverse and detailed landscape, with rock-layered valleys and lush rainforest-like vegetation. Players who have already traversed the game’s desert areas will now have the opportunity to experience a vastly different environment in the Miasmic Swamp, complete with new creatures and plant life to discover. The update also features interactive elements such as the Neon Mushrooms and Egg Devices, which will add unique gameplay mechanics and puzzles for players to solve as they explore the overworld.
Prepare to face new challenges
The 2.3 update for Tower of Fantasy will introduce two new challenging bosses for players to defeat. Jormungan, who wields a massive claymore and Eva, who uses spinning attacks powered by her volt stat. Both bosses will have a second phase that will increase their attack range and number of lightning hits. In addition to the new bosses, players will also have access to three new instances and challenges. The Carnival Party, which will task players with defending against a band’s unique guitar and vocal attacks. In Pursuit of Fate, players will race through different stages while fighting enemies, and Origin of War offers a seasonal multiplayer tower climbing experience, with the ability to customize builds.
