The platform simplifies administration and creates the optimal route and loading plan that can easily adapt to variable delivery conditions, supporting Mida Food’s goal of optimal truck utilization and ultimately reducing delivery costs. Drivers are also equipped with a mobile application for real-time delivery status updates to Mida Food.
Before the platform’s introduction, TMSPH and Mida Food conducted a series of operational studies to improve end-to-end processes from order taking to warehouse operation and dispatch. During this process, TMSPH implemented Toyota’s quality management principles and effective practices based on its extensive experience in manufacturing, warehouse management, logistics and distribution in the Philippines.
