The world’s best martial arts star meets the world’s biggest mobile shooting game
PUBG MOBILE has announced that it will be collaborating with The Bruce Lee Family Company to bring the legendary martial artist to its Version 2.4 Update. Starting January 10th, players will be able to purchase the Bruce Lee Kung Fu Soul Set, Melee Expert Set, and Mr. Kung Fu Set, each featuring a different iconic look of Bruce Lee. The update will also include a variety of cosmetic skins for vehicles, parachutes, and other in-game items, as well as Bruce Lee-themed emotes.
In addition to these items, players can participate in the Dreamrealm Apprentice event from January 10th to January 26th to earn exclusive rewards by completing a series of trials inspired by Bruce Lee. Don’t miss out on the chance to bring some of the master’s style and skills to your gameplay.
Introducing the Martial Showdown festival
PUBG MOBILE’s Version 2.4 Update brings the heat with the introduction of the Martial Showdown festival, a celebration of martial arts that brings new items, events, and spaces to the Erangel and Livik maps. Players can use the agile Dancing Lion vehicle, which can be stored in their backpack, to quickly transport themselves and a friend around the battlefield. The vehicle has the ability to jump and dash, but will only spawn in the new Martial Arts Arenas located on the map. These arenas are divided, with half being open and the other half locked until the end of a countdown.
The update also introduces the Grappling Hook, a handy tool for getting out of tricky situations, and the Bow, a charge-and-release ranged weapon that is perfect for stealthy play. The Bow can deal damage to a wider area with Explosive Bolts as well as regular Bolts.
Players can seek revenge with the new Back For Honor feature, which allows players who have been eliminated by an enemy to hunt them down within a time limit. Rewards go to the player seeking revenge if they are successful, or to the target if they manage to evade elimination.
Other new items in the update include Blessing Kites and Lanterns, which drop crates when destroyed and can be found in urban areas and above the Martial Arts Arenas. The Kung Fu Steamed Bun consumable, which restores Health and Energy, will also be available. Get ready to take on the competition with PUBG MOBILE’s Version 2.4 Update.
