HBO has premiered the official trailer for its new drama series, The Last of Us, at the Comic Con Experience 2022 panel in São Paulo, Brazil.

The nine-episode first season will be available to stream or download on HBO GO from Monday, January 16. The Last of Us is set 20 years after modern civilization has collapsed, following Joel, a seasoned survivor, as he is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of a restrictive quarantine zone.
The journey becomes a fight for survival as they travel across the U.S. and rely on each other. The series, based on the popular video game developed by Naughty Dog, stars Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, Gabriel Luna as Tommy, and Anna Torv as Tess, among others.
It is written and executive produced by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann and is a co-production with Sony Pictures Television.
