Daredevil: Saves She-Hulk or Steals the Spotlight?
The Incredible Hulk has been around in the mainstream media for quite some time now. He first appeared in the comic The Incredible Hulk in 1962, he was made by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Most of us got to know that green hulking beast who wants to do nothing else but smash from the 2008 film under the same comic name. Although the mainstream media already got to see the huge green beast, they might have never heard of She-Hulk.
She-Hulk made her first appearance in the comic book The Savage She-Hulk, created by writer Stan Lee and artist John Buscema in 1980. Now in the mainstream media, she is more known from her show She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022). It is the latest show Marvel has released after their hit series Moon Knight (2022). She-Hulk is not received by the masses as well as they received Moon Knight. “It seems like there is nothing exciting that’s going to come in the next episodes” said by penguinz0, a known content creator who critiques films and shows and said by many other short lived audiences of She-Hulk as well.
The thing people hate most about She-Hulk is the redundancy of the “formula” of these mainstream superhero shows and films. The characters are always unnecessarily funny and are always humorous in times where they shouldn’t be and when it’s just out of character. Aside from that, it has been previously mentioned that people just got bored of the long build up into something that almost feels like nothing. In fact, some of the audience just stayed to see the special cameo of Daredevil which is played by the actor Charlie Cox.
According to Forbes, a lot of the audience who hated the whole show couldn’t help but watch She-Hulk Season 1, Episode 8 because of Daredevil’s appearance. This information really proves that many of the audience just stayed for Daredevil, and personally I’ll say that I too only stayed for Daredevil’s appearance.
