Filipino MMA Fighters Brought Pride to the Nation at One FC's Fight

Last August 31 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, the ONE Fighting Championship™ (ONE FC), Asia’s largest Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) organisation, held PRIDE OF A NATION. Filipino MMA heroes Eduard Folayang, Eric Kelly and Honorio Banario fought their way to victory in front of a enthusiastic and supporting home crowd.

Folayang made good use of his infamous spinning back kicks and powerful right hand to control his opponent, Felipe Enomoto, earning him a unanimous decision at the end of Round 3. Kelly continued to impress fans and spectators in Manila and around the world by defeating MMA legend Jens Pulver by TKO (Punches) in Round 2.

ONE FC CEO Victor Cui (not in photo) announced that Filipino champions Honorio “The Rock” Banario (left) and Eric “The Natural” Kelly (right) both winners that night, will battle for the ONE FC Featherweight belt at ONE FC: RISE OF KINGS on 6 Oct in Singapore!

Unfortunately, Soo Chul Kim defeated Filipino Kevin Belingon by unanimous decision. The other Filipino fighter Andrew Benibe lose by TKO at 3:47 minutes of Round 3 to fellow Pinoy Honorio Banario.

For the main event, MMA fans were treated to the sensational debut of Bibiano “The Flash” Fernandes in the ONE FC cage when he beat Gustavo Falciroli for three full rounds in a decision win.
