Tamron Philippines through Lightroom Corporation announced last September 13, 2014, its new line-up of Tamrom lenses and the first Tamron Image Master of Asia and the Philippines.
First Tamron Image Master in Philippines and Asia
Ricky Ladia, one of the icons of Philippine photography industry, has been chosen by Tamron Philippines to be its ambassador as the first ever Tamron Image Master in Asia and the Philippines. He has been in the industry for more than two decades.
With both international experience working as a photographer at an advertising and publishing company in the Middle East and also locally, his portfolio includes working with popular Philippine fashion and lifestyle magazines, which include Woman Today Weekly, Woman Today Fashion, Glitter and Celebrity Recipes. Some of the media companies he worked with includes Solar Publishing, ABS-CBN and Hinge-Inquirer Publications to name a few.
His clienteles includes first-class hotels, resorts, airlines, fashion, retail brands. Heritage and the Shangri-La Hotels, conglomerate Ayala Land, Inc. and property developer Robinsons Land are some of his big clients.

Tamron 16-300 f/3.5-6.3 DI II VC PZD Macro (Model B016)
The latest All-in-One zoom lens by Tamron designed for APS-C sensor DSLRs, it provides a whooping 18.8X times optical zoom ratio. It covers from wide angle in 16mm focal length up to the telephoto range of 300mm. It’s an ideal walking and all-around lense that can capture widely a landscape scenery and up to getting a close-up of a distance object with its super-telephoto capability. Although packed with the zoom range, it is still light weight at 540 grams.
