After a rousing performance as Filipino rock icon Bamboo, Jhong Hilario was crowned as a weekly winner anew in “Your Face Sounds Familiar Season 3.”
The “Sample King” bested the seven other celebrity performers in the hit musical variety competition airing every weekend on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, Kapamilya Online Live, and iWantTFC.
Jhong, who is expecting a child soon, took home the P50,000 weekly pot after getting the highest number of votes from the jury and his fellow contestants.
Not to be outdone, host Luis Manzano also got to showcase his talent for rapping and impersonation last Saturday as he performed as Filipino rap legend Andrew E., much to the delight of jury members Gary Valenciano, Ogie Alcasid, and Sharon Cuneta, and mentors Jed Madela and Nyoy Volante.
This coming Saturday (March 5) and Sunday (March 6), Jhong targets his third straight win as he transforms into the King of Latin pop Enrique Iglesias. Meanwhile, the iDolls will perform as Earth, Wind, & Fire, Christian Bables will sing and dance ala-Justin Timberlake, and CJ Navato will relive the talent and charisma of Rico J. Puno.
Jaw-dropping performances are also expected from Klarisse De Guzman, who will come out as Queen of Soul Jaya, Geneva Cruz, who will perform as her cousin Sheryl, Vivoree, who will impersonate pop star Camila Cabello, and Lie Reposposa, who will take the stage as April Boy Regino.
