On National Heroes’ Day, PLDT Enterprise recognizes the hard work of local entrepreneurs in helping keep the economy afloat amid the global pandemic
As the country commemorates National Heroes’ Day, PLDT Enterprise celebrates the hard work and commitment of local entrepreneurs—our modern-day heroes—by extending its MSME stimulus packages for another month to help micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) get their businesses back on track.
The stimulus offers are founded on connectivity solutions that feature PLDT Enterprise’s newest fiber broadband service BEYOND FIBER and wireless broadband Smart BizLTE.
Recognizing the need for MSMEs for digital acceleration, PLDT Enterprise designed BEYOND FIBER — founded on resilient business-grade fiber with an enhanced service promise and wi-fi fit for the enterprise, powered by Cisco Meraki. The said solution gives entrepreneurs access to choose digital solutions and add-on services tailored fit to their operations today.
“At the start of the pandemic, we’ve seen how innovative and agile our local entrepreneurs can be as they sought different ways to keep their businesses operational,” said Jovy Hernandez, ePLDT President & CEO and SVP & Head for PLDT and Smart Enterprise Business Groups. “We at PLDT Enterprise have always been in support of our MSMEs. And as part of our commitment to continue enabling them, we’re glad to extend our stimulus solutions promo, giving it for free for the first 3 months, to help them jumpstart their digital shift during this time.”
BEYOND FIBER helps inspire MSMEs and local entrepreneurs to rise above the challenge of going beyond with digital acceleration while striving for financial recovery through affordable curated digital tools and wi-fi fit for enterprise—all anchored-on business-grade fiber.
BEYOND FIBER raises the new standard for business internet with speeds of up to 50 Mbps and minimum of 90% subscribed speed at 90% reliability – 3x the minimum bandwidth guarantee offered today.
Furthermore, the solution allows MSMEs to maintain their daily online operations without worry of downtime with a solid fiber foundation connection that is resilient against network congestion especially during peak business hours. Also included in the service is Cisco Meraki WiFi access point to enable entrepreneurs with wi-fi that is fit for the enterprise. Business owners can use two networks for work and for guests to block non-work related applications while being able to safely share their wi-fi to customers.
Meanwhile, Biz LTE is Smart’s Fixed Wireless Broadband service and is perfect for small businesses—providing flexibility for use in stores and when on the go. It also serves as an alternative for Fixed Broadband in areas where there are no Fiber facilities.
“We have always advocated for the success of our MSMEs by providing them with products and services to boost their businesses. On behalf of PLDT Enterprise, we’d like to salute our local entrepreneurs in doing their very best to help keep the economy afloat amid the global pandemic,” Hernandez concluded.
The initiative is PLDT Enterprise’s response to the Department of Trade and Industry’s call to join its MSME Reboot Program to help local entrepreneurs get their businesses back on track amid the global pandemic.
The stimulus offers, which started in June, is extended further until September 30, 2020. New subscribers can avail of BEYOND FIBER or Biz LTE free for the first three months of use.
