We have an inherited notion of linking Christmas to snow from the Americans. We dream of a White Christmas as we see in our Christmas cards, decorations and in our carols! Snowman, dashing through the snow, and a picturesque view of an village in snow. You can now view a big diorama of a Christmas Village of Hope here in the Philippines, in SM City Cebu to be precise!
Last December 16, we had the opportunity to visit Cebu and seeĀ SM City Cebu Christmas centerpiece, the ~ 700 houses diorama Christmas Village!
Here are some of the 360 photos and videos of the Christmas Village:

Here is a motion panoramic timelapse of the Christmas Village showing how large the area of the display is:
Shoppers love to take photos of the Christmas village and of course take their selfies and groupies as well.
The display is so animated: trains, amusement park attractions, skiers, and more.
Here is one of the trains that I love at the display.
The Giant Christmas Tree
Aside from the Christmas Village, the mall has also a giant Christmas tree where people love to take photos. They even have a pianist playing Christmas songs.

SM City Cebu has definitely impressed people and entertained a lot with their Christmas Village of Hope display. Furthermore, if you notice the signboards with names of sponsors, those are donations from different families and companies. The proceeds of the sponsorship goes to benefit of pediatric cancer patients under the care of Kythe Foundation to give children the gift of hope for a happy and healthy life.
Don’t miss the display if you are in Cebu or heading to Cebu or neighboring areas. It’s on display up to January 8, 2017.
