Candidate number 13, Catriona Gray, was crowned Miss World Philippines 2016 at the Grand Coronation Night of the pageant held at Manila Hotel last Sunday, October 2.
In addition to the crown, the 22 year old beauty from Albay also bagged all the special awards except for Ms. Photogenic: Miss Manila Hotel, Miss Hannah, Best in Fashion Runway, Best in Swimsuit, Best in Evening Gown and Best in Fashion Runway. The Ms. Photogenic title went to candidate #8 Sandra Raymundo Lemonon.
Catriona also got the Miss Organique special award by Organique Acai Company that distributes food supplement and health drink with Acai Berries.
The runner ups were:
- 1st Princess: Candidate # 5 -Arienne Louise Braga Calingo
- 2nd Princess: Candidate # 18 – Ivanna Kamil Suficiencia Pacis
- 3rd Princess: Candidate #21 – Marah O Munoz
- 4th Princess: Candidate #8 – Sandra Raymundo Lemonon
