The immersive exhibit highlights sustainable mobility and innovation in partnership with Eco Archers Team and ACMobility
BYD Cars Philippines, in partnership with its official distributor ACMobility, hosted its first-ever campus showcase at De La Salle University (DLSU), bringing the latest advancements in electrified vehicle technology to students, faculty, and staff. Held from February 10 to 12, 2025, at the Henry Sy Sr. Hall Grounds, the event provided an exciting opportunity for attendees to experience the future of sustainable transportation firsthand.
“As we continue to champion the future of mobility, it’s inspiring to see young Filipinos engage with cutting-edge EV technologies from BYD. This campus showcase at De La Salle University is a key step in making electric vehicles more accessible, sparking curiosity, and empowering the next generation to drive positive change for their communities and the planet,” said Bob Palanca, Managing Director of BYD Cars Philippines.
BYD Tech Tour: A Hands-On Experience in EV Innovation
The BYD Tech Tour featured an impressive lineup of BYD’s latest electric vehicles, including the Sealion 6 DM-i, Seagull, and Seal. Attendees witnessed live demonstrations and explored the unique features of these cutting-edge EVs. Product specialists were also on-site to provide in-depth insights and answer questions, ensuring a fully immersive experience.
In addition to vehicle showcases, the event offered interactive activities that highlighted the benefits of electric mobility and sustainability, with exclusive prizes from ACMobility adding to the excitement.
“This tech tour brings the future of mobility closer to Filipinos, featuring innovations like the BYD Sealion 6 and the BYD Seal. By sharing these advancements, we hope to inspire people to adopt a more sustainable and efficient way of traveling, ultimately making a positive impact on the environment and future generations,” added Palanca.
DLSU Eco Archers Unveil the Zeta Urban Concept
Beyond showcasing BYD’s electric vehicle lineup, the BYD Tech Tour also shined a spotlight on the DLSU Eco Archers Team, a group known for competing in the Shell Eco-Marathon. The team unveiled their Zeta Urban Concept, a groundbreaking vehicle now in its 9th iteration—marking its first public appearance since competing in the Shell Eco-Marathon in Indonesia in July 2024.
