Looking for a meaningful way to give back this holiday season? Globe invites its customers to help bridge the digital divide by supporting its latest G-Gantic Goal: providing modern learning tools and reliable connectivity to five public schools in underserved areas.
A Simple Contribution With a Big Impact
From November 28 to December 30, 2024, Globe and TM customers can make a difference by donating just one (1) Globe Rewards point. This small act of kindness, multiplied by the collective effort of others, can create a lasting impact on the academic journeys of many students.
100,000 Points for a Brighter Future
The campaign aims to gather 100,000 Rewards points to fund a comprehensive technology upgrade for selected schools. With the support of the Ayala Foundation and Khan Academy Philippines, the project will bring these schools up to speed with:
- Globe Fiber Internet, enabling robust connectivity for learning hubs.
- 100 WiFi-enabled tablets, providing essential tools for students to enhance their academic experience.
The upgraded tools and resources will be in place by January 2025, empowering students with better opportunities to learn and grow.
Building on Previous Success
This initiative builds on the momentum of Globe’s first G-Gantic Goal in September 2024, where generous contributions from Globe customers helped provide over Php 1 million worth of aid to families supported by the Hapag Movement.
This time, the focus is on addressing digital inequality that prevents many students, particularly those in provincial areas, from accessing the tools and connectivity they need to succeed in school.
