Philippine Men’s National Football Team Unveils PUMA-Designed Kit for ASEAN Championship 2024

December 5, 2024 – The Philippine Men’s National Football Team (PMNFT) is ready to make waves in the ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2024 this December. This time, they’ll be doing it in style with their new PUMA-designed kit. This partnership, announced in March 2024, not only creates sportswear but also tells a story of Filipino identity and resilience.

On December 3, the much-awaited kits were unveiled at Bootcamp in Bonifacio Global City (BGC). These kits are a celebration of Filipino heritage, values, and sustainability, making every detail a source of pride for both players and fans.

The new kit draws inspiration from iconic Filipino elements:

  • The Philippine sunrise, symbolizing new beginnings and unity, is reflected in the vibrant patterns.
  • The blue tones represent the meeting of sky and sea, a reminder of harmony with nature.
  • The red accents symbolize the sun’s rays, evoking hope and strength—values deeply rooted in the Filipino spirit.
  • Intricate patterns inspired by Amihan and Habagat, two natural forces, represent the adaptability and strength of Filipinos in the face of challenges.

This look is a it’s a symbol of Filipino pride, courage, and determination.

Crafted under PUMA’s RE:FIBRE program, the kits are made with at least 95% recycled materials, showcasing the brand’s commitment to sustainability. This initiative transforms textile waste and used materials into high-quality textiles, paving the way for a sustainable future.

In addition to its eco-friendly construction, the kit offers advanced performance features:
