For a limited time until November 21, the From Zero (Expanded Edition) digital deluxe album is also available. This version includes the full album plus live versions of three From Zero tracks recorded in Los Angeles, London, and Paris, along with 46 pages of imagery and handwritten lyrics. FROM ZERO marks LINKIN PARK‘s first full-length album since 2017 and officially kicks off the next chapter of the band’s musical journey.
Among the highlights on FROM ZERO is the brand-new single “Two Faced.” On Wednesday, the band surprised fans with the release of its hard-hitting music video, directed by Joe Hahn. Watch the video here. The track reintroduces the signature LINKIN PARK sound, blending grainy distortion with chaotic turntable scratching, tightly delivered rhymes, and a cathartic chorus. A gritty riff anchors the track as Shinoda delivers powerful verses while Emily Armstrong alternates between a haunting refrain and a raw scream: “I can’t hear myself think.”
On FROM ZERO, tracks like “Casualty” deliver raw, untamed aggression. With a militant, groove-laden guitar crunch and a relentless punk beat, the song ignites with unbridled energy. Shinoda and Armstrong lock into a fiery exchange, culminating in a defiant chant: “I won’t be your casualty.” Meanwhile, “IGYEIH” builds on unpredictable instrumentation and powerful vocals, creating a charged, dynamic atmosphere. The album closes with the haunting “Good Things Go,” where Shinoda opens with stark honesty: “Feels like it’s rained in my head for a hundred days.” The track swells with emotion, eventually building to a cathartic and poignant conclusion.
LINKIN PARK made waves with the release of “The Emptiness Machine,” which has exploded as the #1 rock song in the country, and the biggest rock anthem of 2024. The track swiftly ascended to the top of both the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay Chart and Alternative Airplay Chart, marking another milestone with 13 #1 hits on the latter chart, the second-most in history, and three of those in the past eighteen months.
To date, “The Emptiness Machine” has accumulated a staggering quarter-of-a-billion global streams. Hot on its heels, “Heavy Is The Crown” follows a similar trajectory, solidifying the band’s dominance. Earlier this month, LINKIN PARK brought their electrifying energy to the 2024 League of Legends World Championship opening ceremony at the O2 Arena in London, performing the tournament’s anthem. The band continued to build momentum, with the Emily-led track “Over Each Other” described by Revolver as “an emotional rocker,” rounding off the anticipation for FROM ZERO.
