Upcoming Asia tour includes Manila: Dec 8 at SM City North Edsa Skydome
Indie-rock trio Last Dinosaurs has teamed up with Filipino indie favorites Oh, Flamingo! to release a new alternate version of their single “Sense.” Oh, Flamingo! brings their signature Filipino flair to the track, blending classic ’90s indie rock vibes with original Tagalog lyrics, giving it a refreshing twist. “We’re so excited to have a cool band from the Filipino scene contribute lines in Tagalog to this track,” says Last Dinosaurs. “We have fond memories of playing for the incredibly enthusiastic crowds in Manila, and having Oh, Flamingo! on the bill should make for another great night of dino rock.”
“We’re beyond thrilled to collaborate with Last Dinosaurs on the alternate version of ‘Sense’,” shares Oh, Flamingo!. “We wanted to add a fresh spin to the song, so we reimagined it as a dialogue between two people. Incorporating Tagalog lyrics really gave it a personal touch, adding a melodic tone that makes the emotions hit differently. We can’t wait for everyone to hear it!”
Last Dinosaurs, who released their latest album KYORYU earlier this year, are keeping the surprises coming. Along with the release of this new track, they’ll also be reissuing their third album Yumeno Garden on vinyl, along with a series of fresh renditions of fan-favorite tracks featuring collaborations with talented musicians across Southeast Asia.
