The 10th edition of the Asian Pastry Cup brought together 27 elite pastry chefs from nine countries, each showcasing their exceptional skills in a high-stakes competition. This year, Team Japan claimed the Gold Prize, with Malaysia and Singapore earning Silver and Bronze, respectively.

The victorious teams will advance to the World Pastry Cup at Sirha Lyon in France this coming January 2025, where Elle & Vire Professionnel® will continue its role as Global Sponsor.

In a proud moment for the Philippines, Team Philippines was among the three teams awarded the “Passport to Lyon”, securing a wild card entry to compete at the Grand Final of the World Pastry Cup on January 24-25, 2025.

The creation process was guided by generative AI prompts, which inspired the chefs to translate digital concepts into physical, edible masterpieces. In a groundbreaking collaboration, Chef Nicolas Boussin, Meilleur Ouvrier de France 2000 and Executive Pastry Chef at Elle & Vire Professionnel®, teamed up with Chef Ko Wai Chong, the brand’s Chef Ambassador for Malaysia and Founder of C3 Lab, alongside Tern Poh Lim, an industry expert in Artificial Intelligence. Together, they introduced a revolutionary initiative that blends artisanal pastry craftsmanship with cutting-edge AI technology.
