On October 15, global technology leader Lenovo unveiled the next phase of its “Smarter AI for All” vision during its annual global innovation event, Tech World, held in Bellevue, Washington. The company presented a comprehensive portfolio of AI solutions, services, and devices designed to deliver transformative benefits and tangible returns on investment for industries, enterprises, and individuals worldwide, alongside the announcement of several key technologies.
Building on last year’s momentum, Lenovo embraced hybrid AI as the future, seamlessly integrating private and public clouds along with individual and enterprise solutions. Notable new technologies introduced include the Hybrid AI Advantage for enterprises, the ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 10 Aura Edition AI laptop, the Lenovo AI Now local AI agent, and the Lenovo Learning Zone software platform. Lenovo also showcased next-generation Neptune liquid cooling for servers to support more sustainable AI operations, along with proofs of concept that leverage AI for social impact.
During the event, Lenovo highlighted how AI has transitioned from potential to reality, demonstrating its ability to produce transformative results. This initiative stems from the expanded partnership established at last year’s Tech World, leveraging the combined strengths of both companies across their full-stack AI portfolios to deliver AI-powered computing swiftly and efficiently.
The Lenovo Hybrid AI Advantage includes the newly launched Lenovo AI Library, a comprehensive repository of ready-to-deploy AI templates that simplify AI implementation for businesses across various industries and functions, including marketing, IT operations, product development, and customer service.
Next-Generation Lenovo Neptune Water Cooling for AI
Lenovo continues its commitment to secure and efficient hybrid infrastructure from edge to cloud, establishing benchmarks for sustainable high-performance computing (HPC) operations. The latest ThinkSystem solutions offer up to 100% heat removal, enhancing efficiency for enterprises utilizing the NVIDIA Blackwell platform and NVIDIA GB200.
The sixth generation of Neptune liquid cooling systems is rolling out across Lenovo’s partner ecosystem, enabling organizations to build and run accelerated computing for generative AI while reducing data center power consumption by up to 40%.

Lenovo offers a unique ecosystem of hybrid AI capabilities across the broadest portfolio in the market, from PCs, smartphones, and mixed reality devices to servers, storage, and cloud solutions. During Tech World 2024, Lenovo introduced several innovations, including Lenovo AI Now, a local AI agent that transforms PCs into personalized assistants; the new ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 10 Aura Edition AI laptop with AI-driven features for hybrid work; and Lenovo Learning Zone, an AI-powered personal education platform. The event also featured exciting proofs of concept such as Lenovo AI Buddy, an interactive visual module, alongside advanced technology demos like Workstation AI solutions and ThinkShield AI PC security.
Motorola announced the beta testing of new moto ai experiences, designed to enhance and simplify smartphone interactions through on-demand summaries of personal communications, automatic identification of action items, and AI-generated contextual information for captured content like photos.

Lenovo also revealed new technologies and proof of concepts aimed at empowering individuals, preserving cultural heritage, and improving lives.

Chairman and CEO Yuanqing Yang introduced a comprehensive AI-powered communication solution for individuals with ALS, combining AI avatars, eye-tracking technology, and predictive LLMs.
Lenovo and InCor, the largest cardiac hospital in Latin America, announced a clinical-grade arrhythmia detection platform, integrating AI into a small, wearable IoT device for real-time monitoring.
