I have been covering the KimXi love team of Xian Lim and Kim Chiu events from blogcons, movie premieres, and block screenings for more than a year now. Some of my Wazzup.PH (formerly WazzupPhilippines.com) coverages include blogcon for Bride for Rent, and blogcon for Past Tense.
I have seen their love team progress through these events. The recent events listed below showed signs that KimXi is really growing from the commercial love team to friendship, being comfortable and open to each other, to leveling up to something.
Here are the events that I think KimXi is moving forward:
Guesting sa A&A
In the “Aquino and Abunda Tonight” show last Wednesday, Xian was asked about his relationship status with Kim. He was all smiles when was asked the question.
On the question whether they are “official”, Xian replied: “Nararamdaman ko, malapit na eh. I think lume-level up na ako.”
Kim’s Support sa Celebrity Screening of Paddington
Kim Chiu showed her full support (and ?) by attending the Celebrity Night screening of the movie Paddington where Xian Lim lend his voice to the main character of the Peruvian bear. Inspite of Kim’s busy schedule, she manages to support her loveteam mate.

Agree & convinced that KIMXI is really leveling up & becoming closer to reality. Since 2012, after My Binondo Days pa as days & years goes by ay lalong nagiging close at sweet ang KIMXI sa isa’t isa. Madalas ay ndi na nila maitago ang sweetness nila para sa isa’t isa. “What You See Is What You Get & Actions Speak Louder Than Words”, yan ang KIMXI. I guess 2012 pa ay sila na, gusto lang nilang maging private lang muna ang lahat para ndi masira ang maganda nilang samahan at maging matatag muna ang foundation ng kanilang relationship. Ngayon na mag 3yrs. na sila at nalampasan at napagtagumpayan na nila lahat ng mga pagsubok na dumating sa kanilang relasyon ay handa na silang ngayon na aminin ang real status ng kanilang relationship. I think this is the right time na aminin na nila ang tutuo kasi nasa right age na naman sila at ndi na sila bagets natulad ng Kathniel na kailangan pang magpakilig ng fans. We are super excited & we love KIMXI so much
We will support & watch Paddington. Super excited to watch the movie & to hear the voice of Xian as Paddington Bear.
Super excited na kami sa teleserye ng KIMXI. Super miss na miss na namin silang mapanood sa primetime, sana malapit na talaga. Bagay na bagay talaga si Xian at Kim, lakas ng chemistry nilang 2 at super sweet nila sa isa’t isa, kaya lalo kaming kinikilig sa kanila.
