2GO, the Philippines’ largest logistics, transportation, and distribution solutions provider, in collaboration with Cebu Pacific Airlines, proudly announces the commissioning of a state-of-the-art X-ray machine at its Gateway Hub. This major upgrade is set to enhance the efficiency of air cargo operations between Manila and various regions across the country, offering businesses greater flexibility in cargo acceptance while maintaining strict delivery deadlines.

The new X-ray machine extends the cargo acceptance cut-off time, allowing partners additional time to prepare shipments without compromising on timely deliveries.

“At 2GO, we are committed to continuous innovation and service improvement,” said Faye Alonzo, Business Unit Head of 2GO Forwarding. “The addition of this advanced X-ray machine reflects our dedication to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. We are excited to demonstrate our enhanced flexibility to our partners.”

2GO’s dedication to excellence has been recognized by Cebu Pacific Airlines, which honored 2GO as its Top Domestic Cargo Agent of 2023. The X-ray technology not only speeds up processing times but also ensures immediate loading and transfer of sensitive items such as pharmaceuticals, perishables, and temperature-controlled goods to Cebu Pacific aircraft. This advancement enhances delivery speed and strengthens security by effectively screening prohibited items, thus safeguarding the integrity of the supply chain.

“2GO Forwarding was a key logistics partner for us last year, and we are committed to further strengthening our partnership with tools that enhance their operations and cargo checks. The extended cut-off hours and reduced processing times align with our shared goal of delivering timely and efficient services,” said Bonita Busch, Group Director of Cargo Commercial at Cebu Pacific.

“We are thrilled to deepen our collaboration with Cebu Pacific,” added Will Howell, 2GO Group Chief Financial Officer. “This new equipment adds significant value to our operations, enabling us to leverage technology and expand our service capabilities. We look forward to continued growth and success as we work together to provide exceptional logistics services to Filipinos.”

In addition to its upgraded air freight capabilities, 2GO continues to offer comprehensive Less than Container Load (LCL) and Full Container Load (FCL) services, addressing diverse shipping needs with nationwide coverage and reliable schedules. Complemented by a robust fleet of trucks and maritime services, these enhancements reinforce 2GO’s leadership in the Philippine logistics sector, supporting the growing e-commerce market’s demand for fast and reliable delivery services.
