A Vision of Preservation and Empowerment

The NACF is the brainchild of Senator Loren Legarda, who envisioned a platform dedicated exclusively to celebrating and preserving the Philippines’ diverse cultural traditions. Since its inception in 2016, the NACF has become a beacon of hope for indigenous communities and local artisans. Not only does it serve as a vital vehicle for cultural preservation, but it also champions the economic viability of the country’s creative industries.

Before the pandemic-induced hiatus, the NACF had proven its economic potential by generating an impressive Php 114 million in revenue for its exhibitors from 2016 to 2019. This not only boosted the livelihoods of countless artisans but also underscored the importance of investing in and promoting our nation’s cultural heritage.
