15 finalists from across the region vie for a chance to represent Asia
TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Asia is thrilled to unveil the 15 finalists who will compete in the upcoming Gazoo Racing Gran Turismo (GR GT) Cup Asia Finals 2024. This electrifying e-Motorsports event will take place on October 13, 2024, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, featuring top racers from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand as they vie for a coveted spot in the global GR GT Cup later this year.
The finals will be hosted at the Connexion Conference and Event Centre, a cutting-edge venue equipped with floor-to-ceiling screens to enhance visibility and elevate the racing experience for both participants and spectators.

Local Qualifying Race
This year’s finalists highlight the region’s premier e-racing talent, including competitors from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. Notable racers include Andika Rama from Indonesia, the two-time defending champion, as well as popular contenders Taj Aiman from Malaysia and Thanaphat Pungphat from Thailand.
From the Philippines, the team features Luis Moreno, last year’s runner-up, alongside Russel Reyes and newcomer Enzo Ison. These three secured their places by outperforming 40 top sim racers in the National Finals held at the SM Mall of Asia in August.
The top three racers from each country, having qualified through local competitions, will now converge at the GR GT Cup Asia Finals in Malaysia, where they will engage in three thrilling races on iconic circuits.
Final Race
The finals will unfold across three renowned racetracks, each providing a unique combination of speed, strategy, and skill. The overall champion will be determined through a points-based system, tallying scores from each race. The selected tracks—Sardegna Windmills, Nürburgring GP, and Fuji Speedway—will present familiar challenges alongside unpredictable elements.
Finalists will compete for two spots at the Global Finals later this year, along with a prize pool exceeding USD $61,000.
