That is one of the great words that came from one of our Hurados on March 06, 2025, during the “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” All-Star Grand Resbak Mediacon, three more of our favorite Hurados, Ogie Alcasid, Jed Madela, and Karylle, and the 48 Grand Resbakers of “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” All-Star Grand Resbak
Our four dearest Hurados have shared their encouragement, messages, and top-tier tips to the Resbakers and Audiences by answering the questions that have been asked to them by the press on the said Mediacon.
Here are some of the Question and Answer highlights:
Press: What’s your best tip for the contestants in terms of their preparation and how are they gonna leave an impact on the day of their performance
Louie: There shouldn’t be a day when you are not prepared. Kung kailan ka tawagin, anytime, you have to be 100% prepared… Impact? Just be yourself… What’s important is YOU ARE WHO YOU ARE, that is the only way to make an impact.
Press: For you, personally, how does this show (specifically Tawag ng Tanghalan) has helped in terms of making an impact or shaping the Music Industry in terms of discovering new talented people like them (the Resbakers)
Ogie: I have two words – Sofronio Vasquez. I think his story says it all… he started here, he still became a coach… He continues to leave an impact of the lives of so many of these singers. And I think now that he’s internationally renowned a more of a bigger impact to so many… That’s so TNT-CODED
Press: Sa dami-dami ng mga magagaling na singers sa Pilipinas, bakit po pinili ninyong ibalik itong Grand Resbak, kesa pumili ng mga panibagong singers?
Karylle: Ang galing ng pangarap ano? Kahit anong talo, hindi mo siya mapapatay, at sila yung testament sa ganon… so they are so worthy of our love and affection.
Press: Ang susunod naman ay para kay Jed Madela. Jed, you are our champion. Kung sakaling hindi ka singer, sasali ka ba sa Tawag Ng Tanghalan?
Jed: Oo naman… you know, as what they’ve mentioned, tumagal ang Tawag Ng Tanghalan for 9 seasons now… I know it is because there is something new and its always a good platform upang maipakita ang talento ng pinoy… For all the singers, grab every opportunity na ibigay sa inyo para marinig kayo at makita kayo. Kasi ang dami-daming opportunities, but again it’s all about the RIGHT TIME, the RIGHT PLACE, and the RIGHT SETS OF PEOPLE, and with Tawag Ng Tanghalan, how can you go wrong diba?
Those were only some of the great parts of the said Mediacon. On top of that, the Press also got the chance to ask questions to some of our Resbakers.
At the very end of the said conference, the Hurados have revealed the exciting things to expect for the “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” All-Star Grand Resbak. On top of this list are the new Judges, which is the “Concert Queen” Pops Fernandez, and “Asia’s Nightingale” Lani Misalucha. Also, Hurados revealed as well that the Resbakers will be divided into four Houses (Groups) that they need to do their very best to defend and fight for.
