Global ride-hailing app inDrive capped off 2024 by expressing its appreciation for partner drivers during the Paskong Ka-Gulong campaign’s Grand Raffle. Over Php 1.1 million worth of rewards were distributed, including a Honda ADV 160 motorcycle, as a gesture of thanks for their dedication throughout the year.
Reinforcing its commitment to the community, inDrive also announced that it will shoulder the government-mandated 20% discount for senior citizens, students, and persons with disabilities (PWDs), ensuring greater access to affordable rides.
Partner drivers in Metro Manila who were active between October 15 and December 16 were eligible for the campaign. Raffle entries were automatically generated based on the number of rides completed during this period, with more rides increasing the chances of winning.
The Paskong Ka-Gulong campaign reached its exciting finale on December 20, rewarding 178 hardworking drivers with prizes designed to spread joy this holiday season. Highlights included:
- 3 winners of a Honda ADV 160 motorcycle,
- 5 winners of a Crystal UHD TV,
- 10 winners of an Honor X6B smartphone,
- 10 winners of auto insurance coverage courtesy of RideSecure, and
- 150 winners of specially curated Christmas baskets.
In addition to these prizes, inDrive celebrated partner drivers who delivered exceptional service throughout 2024, reinforcing their dedication to creating stellar passenger experiences.
“In 2024, inDrive cemented its place in the Philippine ride-hailing market thanks to the hard work and dedication of our partner drivers,” shared Sofia Guinto, Head of Business Development at inDrive Philippines. “This year, we prioritized showing our gratitude by recognizing their contributions. Looking ahead, we aim to deepen our partnership by creating more income opportunities and empowering drivers to better provide for their families.”
Championing Discounts for Seniors, PWDs, and Students
Beyond recognizing its partner drivers, inDrive is fully honoring the government-mandated 20% discounts for senior citizens, PWDs, students, national athletes, and coaches. This initiative ensures that passengers enjoy affordable mobility solutions, even during the holiday rush, while maintaining drivers’ earnings.
Starting December 18, eligible passengers can claim reimbursements by completing a form within 14 days of ride completion and submitting a valid ID. Reimbursements are processed within 5–14 business days, with confirmation emails sent upon successful completion. inDrive is also updating its app to simplify this process further.
“As part of our commitment, inDrive will fully shoulder the mandated 20% discounts, ensuring drivers’ earnings remain unaffected,” added Guinto. “We are dedicated to providing seamless support and timely processing to enhance the experience for both passengers and drivers.”
A Promising Year Ahead
Looking forward to 2025, inDrive is set to expand into new cities, offering fair mobility to more communities and creating opportunities for both passengers and drivers. The company plans to introduce advanced safety features to foster trust and peace of mind, alongside a Taxi Module to support taxi drivers and provide passengers with more ride options.
Currently, inDrive boasts over 13,000 partner drivers across Metro Manila, Bacolod, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Baguio, Iloilo, and Cebu, with more partners joining daily.
This holiday season, inDrive reaffirms its commitment to balancing the high demand for ride-hailing services with reasonable fares and earnings for its users across the Philippines.
